Commercial Property is one of the idea subjects to photograph using high level cameras for Marketing brochures and/or Sales and Letting Particulars. We have recently undertaken Mast Photography near Gatwick, Frimley, Slough and Treforest, South Wales for SEGRO (Slough Estates Group). SEGRO own much property over the UK and have recently taken over Brixton Estates so there is much work to do!

Their property and typically those requiring high level, elevated or mast photography are industrial estates and large scale commercial premises. Our in house facility is able to photograph at an elevation of approximately 60 feet above ground level at a fraction of the cost of aerial photography using helicopters etc. The Mast is mounted on a van and the camera is remote controlled in both pan and tilt direction of for aperture and shutter speed for quickly changing lighting conditions. We also have the facility to be able to seamlessly stitch consecutive images together to increase the field of view when using mast photography. The mast is elevated using compressed air and we are able to quickly move the van mounted rig around a site to capture views from different parts of the site and also at varying elevations above ground level.

The display of the web page is governed mainly by the browser and client-side settings. Testing the web page on all browsers, color depths and screen sizes would be very tedious. It is better to access the kind of visitors you expect, determine what settings and browsers they are most like to use and design accordingly. For example, I can assume that visitors to this page are interested in finding things out about web development or design and would probably be using the latest browsers. You are not like to use monitors under 17 inches and many of you may use large format screens to design on, so we have a good a idea about monitor screen size and pixels.

Register your domain to the your business or the owner of the business. If you don’t you may find it difficult if you want to change your website supplier or worse you may find they own it and you need to pay a release fee, which probably will not be cheap.

Navigation on a web site plays a very important role in making the site user friendly. As a rule of thumb, a web site should follow the “three click” model. This means that a visitor should be able to access any page on the site using three mouse clicks or less. Of course with a well design site including dynamic menus, breadcrumbs deep linking and the like, you can usually achieve that in one or two clicks.
